Guidelines for Artist Alley
The following is a detailed listing of items and themes that will not be allowed into Mississauga Fandom Fest's Artist's Alley. Please be aware that this list will change as bans or copyrights on certain items may be lifted, tightened, loosened, or new ones introduced. There will be no tolerance for any of the listed below, and if you are caught selling any, the artist selling will be asked to remove said items. If any artist refuses to abide with these rules, the artist and any table partner will be asked to leave the convention. Also, if anyone attending has any knowledge of other copyrighted items that we may have missed in these listings, please send us a message letting us know. Thanks!
OUTRIGHT BANNED
1. Absolutely no child pornography.
2. Absolutely no bestiality.
3. Absolutely no illegal themes.
BANNED COPYRIGHTED ITEMS
1. Items relating to Gravity Interactive, Warp Portal and their subsidiaries. - Fanart will still allowed.
2. Items relating to Square Enix, and their subsidiaries. -Fanart will still allowed. Items such as (I.E. a patch, or white mage bag for instance) are also still ok. - This means no replicated items from any of their franchises.
3. No art work or crafted items pertaining to Homestuck/MSPaint Adventures or other work copyrighted by Andrew Hussie. - Absolutely no troll horns. By order of Con Chair.
4. Items relating to VGCats. - Fanart will be okay.
5. No items relating to anything Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilms, Anderson Film Co., and their subsidiaries. - Meaning exact replicas of items found in movies or shows copyrighted by the Walt Disney Company. - Fanart will still okay.
6. No art of any kind relating to Welcome to Nightvale.
Payment for your table must be made in advance.
